Beautiful modern ground floor 2 bedroom apartment sleeps up to 6. Located on the popular La Torre Golf Resort in sought after phase 9 overlooking the large double pool and lawned area with childrens play area and plunge pool just metres away from the apartment's large terrace.Fully air conditioned in both bedrooms and lounge. The apartment has satellite TV, CD stereo system and free internet access. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room with BBQ for those warm lazy evenings at home.
Outside, the large covered terrace area has a dining table and chairs leading on to an open terrace. The open terrace is screened with plants providing privacy whilst still being just steps away from the pools and park area. We provide sunbeds, sun chairs and a large parasol to ensure you can make the most of the fantastic climate of the Costa Calida.
Pool towels, inflatables and arm bands are supplied in the apartment for use. Ground floor location makes the apartment ideal for families and the less mobile.

Within 10 minutes by car is the town of Los Alcazares boasting beautiful beaches with the warm shallow waters of the Mar Menor Sea and wide variety of bars and restuarants. Further afield is the historic town of Cartagena with its castle and harbour. The climate is very warm on the Costa Calida with temperatures reaching around 35 degrees in July and August.

La Torre has an 18 hole golf course which is part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail. Residents can also go to the other Polaris resorts in the local area and try their hand on the other courses in the Golf Trail too. The local shopping mall also has 10 pin bowling alley, amusement arcade and cinema which are extremely popular with families.

Travelling there
The nearest airport in San Javier although Alicante is just 50 minutes by car from the resort and can be more cost effective for flights. All of the major car hire companies are located at both airports although Centauro and Sol Mar often work out the best value. Full directions from both airports are provided to rental guests along with other useful apartment and resort information.
Complex description
On La Torre Resort there is a fully stocked supermarket for all your grocery needs. The town centre offers a selection of bars and restaurants as well as an ice cream parlour, hairdressers and children's soft play centre. The resort also offers the Intercontinental 5 star hotel and all its facilities including a children's club, indoor swimming pool and health spa. The apartment is overlooking one of the many pools which are all available for residents to use. There is also a plunge/children's pool and a park area. This is all set on a large lawned area providing a beautiful setting in which to relax and enjoy some sunshine.

Course description
This superb 18 hole par 68 Jack Nicklaus designed golf course attracts golfers from all over. It features over five hectares of sophisticated bunkers that separate the holes, creating strategic points which provide added value to the shots. Plus, a denser grass was planted around the bunkers, creating the optimum wind shot effect.
It has 6 par 3's with the 11th and and 17th, a carry over water of 170 yds plus 2 par 5's, both of which are approx 500 yds. Accuracy is required for the par 4's so keep that driver in your bag! The greens are in excellent condition, undulating and quite fast!
Staying on La Torre means you can also play quality golf on 3 other superb courses in close proximity for reduced green fees with transportation provided in a warm climate both in the summer and winter months. The Jack Nicklaus Trail currently includes La Torre, El Valle, Mar Menor and Hacienda Riquelme golf courses. It is fast becoming one of the most prestigious trails to complete in Spain. Golf lessons can be purchased and there is Club house and bar for you to use. With the numerous golf courses being constructed in the region, it is being hotly tipped as taking over from the Costa Del Sol as Europe’s leading golf area. Booking information
2 week rentals are discounted at a rate of £100 per rental in high season, £75 per rental in mid season and £50 per rental in low season. Early booking discounts of £25 per week are also offered for bookings made at least 12 weeks in advance.
A £150 holding deposit is payable on booking and is fully refundable within 7 days following inspection of the apartment for damages or losses. The full balance is payable 8 weeks before date of departure. A meet and greet and key handover on resort is provided free of charge on your arrival. Cleaning and laundry is also included in the cost of the rental saving you the £50-£60 additional charge for most La Torre rentals.
