La Casa - a beautifully presented 3 bedroom penthouse apartment with stunning views over the UGR La Tercia golf course set in an impressive residential complex in the lush Murcia countryside but only 15 minutes from the beaches of the Mar Menor.This apartment has been thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and equipped to ensure you have a luxurious and comfortable holiday. The resort is also complimented by its own commercial centre which will, when opened, comprise a range of shops and restaurants. Open now is the Club house with its terrace bar and restaurant, tennis courts,green bowling, golf and and various communal pools as well as small supermarket selling everything including your daily newspaper. The local village of La Tercia also hosts a couple of bars and also a small supermarket plus a superb small bakery and tapas bars. Other shops can be found in nearby local towns and villages of Balsicas, Roldan and Sucina. Its only a 15 minute drive into San Javier or Los Alcazares for larger supermarkets and shops.
The resort is also only 20 minutes away from Mediaeval Murcia with is grand Cathredral, La Liga team Real Murcia Football Stadium and the fantastic shops of Nueve Condominio. Heading towards the Mar Menor you can find Cartagena and its Roman antiquities and rthe quaint port of Cabo de Palos where you can dine on the harbourside.
With all the facilities of the Mar Menor to hand - wonderful sandy beaches, watersports, as well as country pursuits - La Casa is an ideal base for all of your holiday requirements.

La Tercia is a quiet village in the foothills of the mountains surrounded by olive, lemond and almond trees. The air is gorgeous - truly relaxing - yet the resort is a great base for all that the area has to offer - trips to Cartagena, Murcia, Mar Menor, hiking in the Espuna National Park, windsurfing on the Mar Menor, diving at Cabo de Palos. The new airport of Corvera, when opened (probably between March and October 2012) will provide access internationally to this unspoilt area. Furthermore, the planned Paramount theme park, when opened, will be only 25 minutes drive from the resort. La Tercia, in my humble opinion, provides a wonderful holiday home for a visit to the true Spain.
September sees the Roman v Carthaginian Fiesta - a truly magnificent spectacle of the Romans taking Carthagena whilst Hannibal was busy trekking with his elephants to Rome - and the Spanish (and now us) join in very enthusiastically. Easter Holy Week also features the very moving parades of Santa Semana with the Virgin being paraded through the tiny winding streets of old Cartagena together with the triumphant Christ on Easter Sunday. There are also plenty of other Fiestas during the year so you can be sure of seeing something during your visit.
The Spanish makets are a great feature of the area and details of those are left in the apartment. Also, although there are plenty of international restaurants, make sure you go to an authentic Spanish restaurant and try their pot roasted lamb shoulder in a fabulous tomato and red pepper sauce or sea bass baked in salt and not forgetting to try tapas and a cold beer!

If you need any facilities not mentioned here, then please just ask. We can arrange use of golf clubs and tennis raquets as well as bike hire so please just ask us.
Although the apartment is not adapted for disabled use it can be reached quite easily from the outside by lift .
Notes on accommodation
The whole property has been comfortably and tastefully furnished so that you can enjoy your holiday home in ease and comfort. We try and provide all that you need but again if extra facilities are required please do request them and we will try and organise them for you. Wifi internet access is available for a small extra charge.

Course description
La Tercia Golf Course has been designed by Pepe Gancedo is a resort style layout with wide fairways, big greens and a few bunkers introducing challenge to the round. The La Tercia course has two par 3's and two par 5's the longest of which is 571 metres. The first 9 holes are open and ready for play with the further 9 to be completed in 2009. Pepe's son, Roman, has recently been appointed to oversee the golf here at La Tercia. As well as a fantastic course, it boasts an Aquatic Driving Range the only one of its kind in Spain, where for once, you can enjoy seeing your ball drop into the water!
There are spectacular views from the Club House towards the Carrascoy Mountains and over the Aquatic Driving Range. The resort also boasts a super sports complex, tennis courts, bowling green, five-a-side football pitch, basketball court, a boules area and cycle paths throughout. Any of the 16 swimming pools on site are available for guests’ use, as are any of the many children’s play areas.

To confirm your booking we require a 25% deposit with the balance of the rental to be paid 6 weeks before your holiday departure date . We require a £150 security/damages deposit refundable subject to our conditions let. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance.
There is an additional final laundry and cleaning charge payable on arrival to our property manager of 65 euro for 4 guests and 80 euro for 5 guests or more. We can also arrange welcome packs and nursery equipment with these charges payable locally on arrival. We can also recommend car hire and bicycle hire providers. Wifi iinternet access s available at 20 euro per week and there is a supplement for air conditioning in July and August.
