The location of Roda golf is ideal with many other top golf courses in the area including the famous La Manga club. It's not all for golfers though, there are plenty of water sports nearby on the Mar Menor such as paragliding, jet bikes and water skiing. It also has a promenade stretching for some miles which can be strolled or biked along, a wide choice of restaurants and bars selling the local tapas are only a 10 minute walk away.
Or why not just have a swim in the therapeutic warm waters of the Mar Manor. If shopping is your thing you are a short drive from the historic town of Cartegana or the bigger city of Murcia with its stylish boutiques.

The course is exclusively designed by renowned golf architect Dave Thomas. As you would expect the construction is to the highest standards. The design incorporates 3 strategically positioned lakes and a great deal of emphasis has been placed on tree planting and landscaping. The overall result is a course we are sure you will enjoy.

Walkways and cycle paths meander their way through the development, enabling you to make your way round the tranquil surroundings and lush well kept gardens.There are children's playgrounds situated at various intervals and the newly built club house where you can eat, drink and relax while watching TV or other golfers from the rooftop terrace is only a couple of minutes walk from the apartment.

The most convenient airport to fly to is Murcia, It is just a 5 min drive to Roda Golf from here, alternatively you can fly to Alicante which is a 50 min drive directions available on booking, and airport transfers arranged if needed.
Complex description
The price also includes the use of 4 bikes for the more energetic and clubs for the occasional golfer, or ideal for the driving range. If tennis is your thing there are racquets also available, the courts are a few minutes walk away along with paddle tennis and a full size 5 a side pitch.
There are playgrounds dotted around the complex and the apartment is a few steps from the communal pool. There are many other pools to use just a few minutes walk away. The golf course club house and onsite shop are 5 minutes walk away.

Notes on accommodation
Lounge area with leather sofabed, TV , DVD and Play Station 2 with games. Various films and CDs , to keep the children entertained if they ever get tired of the pool. The lounge leads directly onto the double terraced area where there are sun loungers/table and chairs.
The apartment is accessible for wheelchairs being situated on the ground floor.
High chairs and cots can be arranged on request.

Although I am sure you will be dining out where possible, if you decide to eat in there is everything you would need.
The Kitchen area has all mod cons including oven/hob, washing machine, microwave and full size fridge freezer.

Which can be made up as double or 2 singles. Leading out onto its own patio area overlooking the pool, there are built in wardrobes with security safe for your personal possessions, also an en suite bathroom consisting toilet, sink, bath with power shower and hair dryer.

Patio.
Relax or dine al fresco on the patio area which is surrounded by lush green and well tended gardens.
There is a patio table and chairs, 2 sun loungers and barbecue, overlooking the swimming pool it is an ideal place to sit watching the sun go down while sampling a glass of the local vino.
The patio has the added benefit of being south west facing so you have the sun from midday to late evening.
There is also an underground store room where you will find 4 bikes, golf clubs, tennis racquets for the onsite courts and other items you may find useful round the pool (inflatable's, bats and balls etc)

Course description
This excellent 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by Dave Thomas was created by combining different environments and working for a total adaptation to the Mediterranean landscape and vegetation. They have transformed the practically flat ground into an interesting and undulating golf terrain, with strategically placed lakes and carefully designed tree planting integrated in to the design, to challenge all levels of golfers. Watch out for the 7th Hole - 174m Par 3, played over water with the green on a small island!
Dave is rightly proud of his creation and has cleverly shaped the previously flat landscape into an interesting and undulating golfing terrain that is pleasing to the eye and provides an interesting and challenging test of golf. The design incorporates 3 strategically located lakes and a great deal of emphasis has also been placed on integrated tree planting and landscaping.

Have just arrived home from what can only be described as a lovely relaxing holiday. Your apartment was lovely and our kids loved falling out of bed and into the pool. This is our first visit to this area of Spain and we were very impressed .

Just got back late last night. there will certainly not be any bad feedback from us as we all thoroughly enjoyed our week,
the apartment was very well fitted out & made our stay fantastic,the welcome pack was a nice added touch & the location of the apartment was really good as well, as we have seen some of the apartments with pools facing the road, the guys really enjoyed the golf course & played as often as they could, so all in all we had a fab week thank you, so much so our friends have asked us to go back later on.
Hope to be in touch again very soon.

Prices are in pounds per week for the apartment not per person and include welcome pack, linen/towels and end of stay clean. There is a meet and greet service included who will ensure you have a comfortable stay. Airport transfers can be arranged on request. Please note prices are based on party of 4 people slightly more for extra persons to allow for the clean/launder.
Prices are on a sliding scale the more weeks you book. so for example 2 weeks in mid season is £600 not £680.

For convenience, pay using your credit or debit card via PayPal (Note: there is a convenience charge when paying by PayPal).

Deposit of £100 will secure dates and be used as security deposit (refundable on return) balance due 5 weeks prior to arrival.
The hotel and spa is under construction and current prices reflect this. No building work is visible from the apartment, phases one/two the golf course and club house have been complete for over 2 years and are well established.
