Following several months of negotiations, Polaris World finalised a deal with its creditors, IRM Group (a consortium of 4 major Spanish, namely Banco Popular, Banco de Valencia, Bancaja, CAMbank).
Olagolf, a company founded by the Spanish and internationally renowned golfer José Maria Olázabal, has taken over the management, on behalf of the IRM Group of three of the golf courses, built by Polaris World and originally designed by Nicklaus Golf.
Olagolf now manage Condado de Alhama Golf Course, Mar Menor Golf Course and Terrazas de la Torre Golf courses, located in the towns of Torre Pacheco and Alhama de Murcia.
Under the new agreement between the two companies, Olgagolf is dedicated to providing the necessary services to preserve and maintain the highest level standard of golf courses and create challenging courses and the best possible experience for all types of players.
Olagolf have now renamed the courses as Signature Golf Alhama, Mar Menor Village Golf and Saurines de la Torre Golf .
Olagolf are based in Madrid and comprise B.C. Golf Organizaciones, B.C. Consultoría y Proyectos, Olagolf Comunicación, Olagolf Travel, Olagolf Comercial, Olagolf, Gestión and Olagolf Mantenimiento. In 2008-2009 they created a corporate group under the title of Olagolf.
