Los Alcazares

El Patio:
A warm and welcoming Spanish restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. The menu offers a range of starters including warm garlic bread and fresh salads. For main course there is a selection of meats that are cooked in front of you on a large indoor barbeque in winter months and outdoors in the summer. There is a choice of lamb, pork, chicken and fish, accompanied by garlic potatoes and a house wine. Situated opposite the Mercadonna on the main road into Los Alcazares. Closed Mondays.

Ramon’s Restaurant:
Located on Av de la Libertad (painted green.) Offers excellent Mediterranean dishes. Including a choice of tapas starters to get your mouthwatering. For main course they serve meats, fish baked in salt, fish fried with peppers, grilled fish or fish served with rice. The restaurant also has an excellent selection of tempting deserts. Ramon’s is very popular with the local people in area.

Hindustani Restaurant:
Located in the BalnearioPlaza near Mercadona, serves authentic Indian cuisine. Enjoy an evening out at Hindustani and taste the excellent choice of freshly cooked Indian dishes with seating inside and outside. Quality food and service awaits those who love Indian cuisine. The menu offers a choice for everyone and includes set meals and chef's specials.

Penny Farthing:
Located in the Balneario Plaza near Mercadona.  Runby Brits, serving an excellent traditional English breakfast and light snacks along with a selection of homemade dishes including Lasagne, Cajun Chicken, steak pie, Fajitas and other traditional favourites like Cod & Chips. Great value for money, excellent service.  Penny Farthing also has a separate children's menu. There is a large selection of seating with tables inside and outside.

Located in the Balneario Plaza near Mercadonna – upmarket Chinese and Japenese – set menu from €15.

El Chato:
Located on Av de la Libertad just before Ramon’s. Excellent Spanish restaurant with a varied menu. Try daily specials. In high season they play good music.

Hotel Encarnacion,  2 condesca:
Located along the promenade in Los Alcazares (South) They have a lovely courtyard to eat in off season. Live music on certain nights. Great paella.

Torre Pacheco

La Almazara:
losed on Mondays. Near Mar Menor Golf Resort. Signposted from the main roundabout as you turn right into Mar Menor. Carry on past the resort and you turn first right.  Need to book in high season.

La Bambinata, Pizzeria:
Stay right at Big Mat roundabout, through all the traffic lights stay on main road, past taxi rank on the left hand side. Good Spanish eating place, excellent value for money, pizza, pasta fish etc. 4 Caminos – go left at big mat roundabout, second right (45 degree road) first right again, on left corner at second road junction. Good Spanish food – modern – approx 30 – fresh tuna is fantastic.

San Javier

Wok Buffer:
Excellent value - €8.95 (eat as much as you like.)  Near Mercadonna (just off roundabout to airport.)

Santiagode la Ribera:
Exit from motorway follow signs to Santiago then to playa – 2 fish restaurants – take one on right – fabulous fish Opens at 9 p.m.

Pilar de la Horardada

La Casa del Reloj:
Ask to go to courtyard – suckling pig, chateaubriand, great fish take exit 774 to Pilar de la Horadada and San Pedro at roundabout by Buddha night club – first exit – 100 yards

Sucina ( near Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort)

Spanish home cooking. Great lunch time menu of the day.

El Meson del Vino:
Spanish restaurant / wine bar. Excellent steak and tapas. Also have a lovely open bar in high season serving drinks till late.

Emma’s Bistro:
English owners – varied menu – very popular. May need to book for evening.

Plaza Bar:
Cheap Spanish specialities, good tapas, barbecued grilled plates of mean (a la parilla), sizzling prawns. Paella on Wednesday lunchtimes. 3 course meal for €8 including drink. Staff do not speak English but menu in English. Drink prices and coffee cheap.

Near El Valle Golf Resort

Go north towards Mosa Trajectum and at the garage come off 3319 and use under pass.

Excellent tapas and you can buy fresh meat and fish

Good value canteen style Chinese restaurant

Alhambra Palace

Jupier Palace:
Standard Indian restaurant.

Good for a morning fry up or pizza also the Alhambra again an Indian  restaurant.

Roldan  - town to the back of La Torre

Gente d’Pasta:
Italian pizza and pasta – get take aways at a reasonable price.

Roldan Grill:
They have an early bird menu for €10 a head.

Las Olivias:
A traditional spanish restaurant where you can get take away paella.
